history
The first Liturgy in Polish was celebrated on the 5th February 2005 in Warsaw. It was organized by Orthodox students from Warsaw, who wanted to attend services in understandable language, with the blessing of metropolitan Sawa, the head of the Polish Autocephalous orthodox Church.

For more than a year Liturgies were celebrated twice a month on Saturdays due to lack of place for celebrations. After a year metropolitan Sawa decided to move the services to the chapel of the Polish – Catholic church at Wilcza 31 street. From March 2006 services have been held every Sunday.

Afterwards other services started to be celebrated – like vespers, matins, Great Lent and Pascha feasts etc. For more than 5 years about 14 baptisms were also celebrated in the chapel.

The community became known as a Orthodox Pastoral Point in the name of St Gregory (Peradze).
